Sportivo Ameliano
Club Sportivo Ameliano, also simply known as Ameliano, is a Paraguayan Association football, football club based in Virgen del Huerto neighborhood in the city of Asunción. The club competes in the Paraguayan Primera División for the 2022 Paraguayan Primera División season, 2022 season after their promotion at the end of the 2021 Paraguayan División Intermedia. The club was home to Alfredo Mazacotte who began his career in the youth teams of the club, and is actually the home of historic striker Marcos Caballero who played for the club from 2003–2021, the player was the leading goal scorer of the Primera División C of 2008 with 11 annotations along with Alberto Cristaldo of Deportivo Recoleta. The ex-footballer and Argentine coach Oscar Paulin was credited for taking the club to the zone of promotion in 2015 and 2016. Estadio José Tomás Silva
The Estadio José Tomás Silva is a Association football, football stadium in Paraguay located in the Virgen del Huerto, Virgen del Huerto neighborhood of Asunción. The stadium has a capacity of 800 people and is home for Paraguayan Primera División, Primera División club Sportivo Ameliano. This venue is popularly known as ''La paila''. In its beginnings, the club had its first sports field on the property currently occupied by the ''Instituto de Medicina Tropical'', on Venezuela Avenue. In later years it had another playing field near España and Venezuela Avenue. In the 1970s, it moved to the current site where the current stadium was built. One of the main promoters being Mr. José Tomás Silva. In 2013, a modern gym was inaugurated on the club grounds. In December 2015, the stadium suffered some damage after a storm. References

The Supercopa Paraguay (''Paraguay Supercup'') is an annual one-match football official competition in Paraguay organised by the Paraguayan Football Association (APF) which is played by the Primera División champions with the best record in the season's aggregate table and the Copa Paraguay champions, starting from 2021. This competition, created in October 2019, serves as the season's closing event and is scheduled to be played in December each year, one week after the end of the league season. The Copa Paraguay is a knockout football competition in men's domestic Paraguayan football, starting in 2018 and succeeding the defunct Torneo República. The project for its creation was officially presented in December 2017 and approved by the Paraguayan Football Association's Executive Committee on 20 February 2018. The competition starts in April and ends in November, with the winner of the cup qualifying for the following year's Copa Libertadores ( Copa Sudamericana until the 2022 edition). The 2022 Supercopa Paraguay was the second edition of the Supercopa Paraguay, Paraguay's football super cup. The 2023 Copa CONMEBOL Sudamericana was the 22nd edition of the CONMEBOL Sudamericana (also referred to as the ''Copa Sudamericana''), South America's secondary club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL. The 2022 Copa Paraguay was the fourth edition of the Copa Paraguay, Paraguay's domestic football cup competition organized by the Paraguayan Football Association (APF). The competition began on 10 May and ended on 10 November 2022, with the winners qualifying for the 2023 Copa Sudamericana as well as the 2022 Supercopa Paraguay against the Primera División champions with better record in the aggregate table.
